up to boardsnapper place...

Get up early breakfast. Cornflakes with some bananas to gain some energy for the day. And it is quik, you don't have to walk to the bakery for bread.

Took the car to go to a surfspot north, in the direction of the spanish border. Cause swell picked up rapidly.

Some fresh juicy snacks

When we arrived we were alone.. and also for the rest of the time.. wonder why;-)
Oefff, Howley mowley... Big waves came in, real crushers.

A long empty beach. The hills in the back is Spain

On the pics it's hard to see, but these hollow slammers are average 4 meter. In the back the bigger sets break. Very hard to paddle out, no channel

ai ai, looking nice. many fine thick tubes. But also countless thick closeouts. So no options to come around or to duck away

The place was like it's name: boardsnapper. I didn't want to take the risk so I choose wisely, drove a little further for a more mellow but perfect break. Saves energy and maybe a board;-) So much more days to come..

Time for a drink, ... and tuna

first goal: get hungry during the day. Easy, all day windsurf!

Paul and Cornelia scored some monsterpieces of tuna...

Nice with some veggies into the Kramer grill

A Local Superbock beer. Must say a very very fine beer

A healthy beetroot salad and the vegetables

The food/fish tasted superb.
Getting really thirsty ;-) So time for some caiparinha's

First some nice fine crushed ice. got some icecubes from the bar

Icecrusher..

Enough lime..

Fine crushed ice

Some fine rhum and cane suger. If you mix the right amounts you get the magic...

End of the evening.. empty bottle, and I saw things that weren't there..must admit that I spotted the full moon... (but instead of the moon it was just an street-lamp etc..)

SeanOrdonezShape Guppy 85 + loop seq.

Out on the SOS Guppy 85 today. Carbon/bamboo. Such a fine board in every way. Surfing pics made by Paulfoto.de. The Picture above I really like. It's just a basic jump from the back of a small wave, but the colors make it. Board got same colors as rocks from the pier, and the sails looks like a wing

Going into the air.Not much wind in front, but always fine to fly

This is the board. A true beauty that could easily hang in a museum of art. Thanx Sean! They are so special to me, I got to unleash them also ;-) No wallhangers for me..

Break, homemade fresh mint tea

Even a simple jibe with this board looks like an extreme carve.. spray that makes a waterskier jealous

Healthy food in the evening. (yup it's not only sweet what I eat). A nice sort of pasta with veggies

Desert: banana's on fire.. add a little sugar that turns into caramel.

Been surfing

Rainbow sprays (hard to see, but o so nice to watch. especially in the line-up)

Long tunnels, 2.5/3 meters.. , somewhere in northern Portugal.

Yup, thats me. scored superb surf. happy and stoked

This isn't coral, but just sand. Tiny animals make it underwater. impressive work
Ronja on the dry reef. Mostly looking+ eating little crabs and sea mussels

Me again.

Erik in front of beach

The rocks that show up when the tide sinks.. Sometimes tricky surfing but worth the risk

A basic evening bbq

Some healthy green

Some fine green. Think also healthy

The evening. Clear skies, and if you want you can surf the whole night. Not me.. way to tired, tomorrow there will be another nice day
