Normally on our menu in Brittany, but we found them at the grocery

for restaurants. Result: Superb!

Slovenia

Slovenia, one of the smallest countries in the world. Just half the size

of Switserland. It's located south of Austria and east of Italy.

It measures 150 x 250 km and 20.275 km2 in area.

Never been in that country, but think thats gonna change...

Searching for info I came across so many interesting things. It got

mountains ( the real deal ones...), great nature, zillion of caves....

.. a small piece of coast

...good snow

.... and surfboards! Flikka!

(Sure, I knew that already for a longer time, but till now

I never looked further to other boards than the ones in

my garage ;-)

Playing with boards in my head/on paper....., but time is the killer...

There's something they call evolution on it's way.

Knowing the guys at Flikka got all the hi-tech>cnc shape machine (=timesaving+ accurate) but what's even more important... they got all the skills (shaping/building/material knowledge), they know what they do and are passionate.

I decided to contact them..

And from one thing came another.

To be in short: there will a Flikka joint!

This morning a big ship "visited"our beach...

Neon...

Neon colors on a surfboard. You love or hate it...

I belong to the first group! Even on the darkest days these boards pop out as if it was a tropical flower on the South/North pole.

The cold night did some magic with the roof of the car

The day started nice. We got some new fresh snow. Higher in the mountains clouds and wind made it look sober. So we went into the forrest parts.

Here it's a mix of survival (don't crash into that tree), luck (find a nice path, so that you hold your speed going down the mountain) pumping adrenaline and fun.

Bad luck ;-) Big trees don't bend...

We had an amazing time. At the end of the day we made a wrong turn and ended in a river (big drop + water included..)....

Can happen, part of the game ;-)

We had to dig/climb ourselves out of the water/snow and a heavy deep snow walk followed.
