Found in my shapebox some glass-on fins that never touched the water. At least not the last 20 years ;-).. So time to use them.
The size of the fins is ideal. Just between my sidebiters and the "Sunny's". (after reshape..)As I just installed some fcs plugs in my latest creation, I simply had to turn these fins into that
finsystem.
First the correct outline of the tabs. After that the saw and file
I added an extra layer of carbon on the inside of the fin, to stiffen it up and to give it some extra thickness. I also had to make the tabs a little thicker so that fins will be secure in plug.
