Some post ago I wrote about a Carbon Eames/Miller shell chair. Nice but pricy.
So why not make one myself? A basic black chair is always handy when some guests come over.
Still had loads of carbonfiber and epoxy left. The materials should be used, otherwise they get old.. ;-)
I go for the basic easy way. I use an original shell as form. I wrapped it in plastic tape, so that the epoxi wouldn't stick/glue to the original.
A hightech lightweight design icon in the making..
If everything goes correct I can tomorrow peel of the carbon shell from the original.
