The people at Garageworks "finetuned" some classic Eames chairs. Instead of the normal fiberglass (nowadays plastic,Vitra) they used carbon.Maybe something for the motorsport freaks, but nothing for me. I prefer the classic ones with loads of patina.
Price of these carbon chairs: $1400-1700 .... Ouch!
Ahum, that money is easy made... still got loads of carbonfiber and chair"forms" ;-)
