Maasvlakte

Today I only had a bit of time in the afternoon. So THE moment to finally check out the Maasvlakte after it was reopened in May of this year. I heard a lot of good news from there lately, so I was expecting nice conditions. It turned out to be a bit of a dissapointment. Maybe because it was high tide, but it was just a big shorebreak and almost no waves behind it. Just a few big ones here or there. So after 2 hours with the cold, the rain and the wind dying, it was time to call it a day.

 

 

On my way home I spot this nice rainbow..

Now time for dinner and another one of these sweeeeet deserts ;-)
