Isn't that a bit too big to catch waves at Mavericks?

Lightwind session
Had a great lightwind session at Ouddorp. Waves not as big as last weekend, but still nice clean lines of about shoulder height.
And I am in love with my Firelights!!! Just too bad it rained in the end :-)

Early Christmas
Got a Christmas feel this morning. Felt like unwrapping Christmas presents, especially with the red and white colored plastic wrapping. Now let's hope for some wind!!!

Garmisch-Partenkirchen
After going up the "Wank", we spent the afternoon in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Being a painter here should be good business!!

Wank
Off course we also needed to see the Bavarian mountains. We went up a mountain called "Wank". Probably means I am a wanker now ;-)
In the clouds.
The "Zugspitze" (the highest mountain in Germany) looks like a volcano ;-)

Enjoying the Wörthsee
It's already a while ago, but I was editing some pictures and thought I'd post some. In the end of august we headed to Bavaria, in southern Germany to visit Paul and Cornelia. We had a great time there.
First meal ;-)
Was eager to test the high tech material...
Especially in water as clear as that!
But Sadly there was no wind at all!!
But perfect for swimming.
I know BYO (bring your own) as it is common in Australia. Bring your own alcoholic drinks to a restaurant. Usually there's a liquor store just across the street, so you can easily get your wine or beer. Bavaria has the opposite. Bring your own food and buy the drinks. The "Biergarten" ;-)
Refreshing...
Bavaria's windsurfing hotspot: Ammersee!!

A new season is coming
Or better, that new season allready started to the max.
Wind/autumn gave me allready something of its potential...
Last couple of days have been a blast!
Another coming new season switch is that I started a new blog.
That blog is called: The Big Flik
Check that one out!
It's all about the fine Big Flik things in life ;-)
More or less about the same things I used to post here.
Travel/food/fun/cars/doing nothing special/enjoi the small things
smiles/surf/wind/flowers/waves/boards/being just that average guy
vw-aircooled/repair/bad luck/sun etc..
and of course that small brown doggy ;-)
Wanna thank you for all your visits/feedback/support overhere
Friendly greetings + a big fine Flik
David
ps. Posted this message yesterday also, but to my big surprise
it got deleted after some hours... strange..
Was it the strong wind that founded an entrance in the
computer"connection", and blew the post away ?
Was is the automatic censorship of Blogger.com?
Anyway it was something weak
